BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 29-year-old man is charged with drunken driving and criminal endangerment for allegedly pinning a man between two vehicles at a Laurel park.

Justice of the Peace David Carter set bond at $10,000 for Rodney Lee Tanner Jr. He did not enter a plea.

Mark Avila tells The Billings Gazette (https://bit.ly/1u49zjR ) he was at Riverside Park celebrating his daughter’s 10th birthday on Saturday when he was hit, suffering injuries to his ribs, legs and knees.

A police report indicates Tanner was stuck in the snow and people tried to assist him until they realized he was intoxicated. When they tried to get him out of the car he hit the gas, causing the car to fishtail and pin Avila. Court records say Tanner’s blood-alcohol level was nearly four times the legal limit.
