SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls will not see an airshow in 2015 due to the lack of a main act, but organizers say the show to be held in 2016 will include a performance from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

The show typically takes place every three years. Organizers say they were not able to secure a featured act for this year and decided to postpone the show.

Additional acts for the 2016 show will be announced in December. Previous shows have featured vintage B-25 and P-51s, and newer military jets such as F-16s from the South Dakota National Guard, the Marine Corps’ AV-8 Harrier and U.S. Air Force’s F-22 Raptor.

The show has been scheduled for July 23-24, 2016.
