ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The first two “Taste New York” vending machines are now in operation at rest areas in Broome and Saratoga counties.

One is at the Clifton Park rest area on Interstate 87 and the other is at the Broome Gateway rest area on Interstate 81 between the Pennsylvania state line and Exit 1. Machines are also operational at the state Capitol and Legislative Office Building.

The vending machines feature agricultural items produced and processed in New York state.

Products available will vary. They will include Heluva Good string cheese, Linden’s cookies, Adirondack beverages, Crowley yogurt, North Fork potato chips, Uncle Wally’s muffins, and Saratoga water.
