TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) - Striker Saber Khelifa and winger Fakhreddine Ben Youssef have pulled out of Tunisia’s African Cup of Nations squad because of injury.

The Tunisian Football Federation said on its website Wednesday that both players picked up muscle injuries in Sunday’s 1-1 home draw against Algeria and will be out for several weeks, without giving further details of their injuries.

Khelifa has scored five goals for Tunisian side Club Africain this season while Ben Youssef has just joined French first division side Metz.

Coach Georges Leekens has called up Club Athletique Bizertin striker Adem Rejaibi and Esperance Tunis forward Ahmed Akaichi for the Jan. 17-Feb 8 tournament, which is being held in Equatorial Guinea.
