HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - State Police are trying to identify a female who died in a fiery crash on Interstate 95 in Mercer County.

Sgt. Jeff Flynn says the female was driving a car that crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was parked on the shoulder of the highway in Hopewell Township around 3 a.m. Thursday.

The car burst into flames.

Flynn says the truck driver managed to remove the female from her car. She died on the scene.

The accident investigation closed northbound lanes.
