ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Radio host Garrison Keillor is scheduled to perform at the University of Georgia for an evening of storytelling.

The school’s performing arts center plans to host Keillor Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall. Keillor is the host of the long-running radio program “A Prairie Home Companion,” which is played on more than 900 public radio stations each week.

Keillor starred as himself in the 2006 movie adaptation of the show and is also a best-selling author and Grammy award winner.

Keillor was originally supposed to perform at UGA on Sept. 24 but had to reschedule because of surgery. Tickets for the September performance will be honored at the January show.
