KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a suspect in the slaying last May of a 61-year-old man shot in his rural home outside Klamath Falls.

The Herald and News reports (https://bit.ly/1zuhCbb ) that 21-year-old Richard Henry Tallent of Klamath Falls was indicted by a grand jury last week on charges of murder and being a felon in possession of a handgun. He is being held without bail.

Steven Edward Dann was found dead in his home in the rural community Bly Mountain, about 30 miles east of Klamath Falls.

Authorities allege Tallent fired into Dann’s home and fled. Court records indicate he conspired with others in the slaying.

District Attorney Rob Patridge did not divulge what led to the arrest or other whether others are imminent.
