RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash on Geiger Grade over the weekend as a 34-year-old Reno man.

Troopers say Trenton Perry was riding his 2003 Harley Davidson south on State Route 431 south of Reno at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday when he crossed the center line and collided with a 2014 Harley Davidson.

Perry and the other motorcyclist, 34-year-old Jerald Bailey of Reno, both were thrown from their bikes.

Perry was flown by helicopter to a Reno hospital where he later died. Bailey was treated for non-threatening injuries and released.

Traffic between Reno and Virginia City was reduced to one lane for three hours.

The accident remains under investigation.
