SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A string of office and commercial burglaries is prompting some Sioux Falls businesses to upgrade security.

The Argus Leader reports (https://argusne.ws/1xXrF1P ) that since November, Sioux Falls police have had reports of almost 60 burglaries. A dozen businesses in three buildings were hit over the weekend.

Tyler Blake with Midwest Alarm says the company has received about 20 phone calls from businesses in the past week about security systems. He says callers are citing the recent break-ins.

Sioux Falls Chiropractic was burglarized twice late last year. Co-owner Robert Joyce says officials have decided to install a new surveillance system and upgrade their safe.
