ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Federal prosecutors say a northeast Georgia man has been sentenced to prison after investigators found pipe bombs in his home.

Authorities say police were called to the home of 31-year-old Antonio Meadows on Christmas Eve 2013 to respond to a domestic violence report. While investigators were serving a warrant, prosecutors say they saw Meadows running around his house trying to dispose of something in the sink.

Meadows was arrested and investigators later found three fully functioning pipe bombs that contained pellets, bullets and other shrapnel.

Meadows was sentenced to 41 months in prison.
