HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - A suspended Huntington firefighter has been sentenced to seven months in jail on drunken driving and other charges.

Media outlets report that 44-year-old Shane Patrick Masters pleaded guilty on Tuesday to second-offense driving under the influence, driving on a suspended/revoked license, obstruction and domestic battery.

Wayne County Magistrate David Ferguson also ordered Masters to pay a fine and court costs.

The charges stem from a domestic dispute and traffic stop on Jan. 4. It was Masters’ fourth drunken driving arrest since 1998 and his third in two years.

Masters was suspended following his latest arrest. City officials alleged that he didn’t notify superiors that his driver’s license had been revoked.
