GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A 31-year-old Browning man has been sentenced to over 17 years in federal prison for a bank robbery that netted him about $4,000.

U.S. District Judge Brian Morris sentenced Ronald Joseph Fourhorns on Jan. 15 and ordered him to pay restitution

Fourhorns pleaded guilty in November to robbing the Native American Bank in Browning in March 2014.

Prosecutors say Fourhorns passed a note to a bank teller stating that he had a gun and to give him money or he would start shooting.

Court records say officers used surveillance video and a description of the getaway vehicle to identify Fourhorns as the suspect.
