MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Prosecutors say a man involved in a crash that killed four women on Christmas Eve three years ago has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide.

The Shelby County district attorney’s office says 41-year-old Davis Brooks pleaded guilty Wednesday to four counts of vehicular homicide involving intoxication, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, identity theft and driving on a suspended license.

Prosecutors say Brooks’ blood-alcohol content was .26 at the time of the Dec. 24, 2011, crash. Investigators said Brooks was traveling at a high rate of speed when his Chevy Silverado struck the rear of the victims’ Chevy Impala and pushed it into the path of an oncoming Ford F-150 pickup truck.

The women were killed instantly. Two men in the pickup were injured.

Brooks is scheduled for sentencing Feb. 27.
