MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Twelve children have been taken to the hospital for minor injuries after a school bus overturned in Chilton County.
Clanton Police Chief Brian Stilwell told WBRC (https://bit.ly/1CnaPQo ) that there were no serious injuries in the bus wreck.
The injured children were being transported to three different hospitals. The Chilton County school system said the uninjured children were taken to a nearby restaurant to meet their parents.
The bus crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday on Enterprise Road.
