INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police are searching for a young boy suspected of robbing a pharmacy on the city’s west side using a threatening note.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the boy approached the CVS pharmacy counter Monday morning. The department says the boy handed an employee a note saying he was robbing the pharmacy and wanted a specific list of pills.

Police say the note also implied the boy would kill everyone in the store if the alarm button was pressed. They say the received the pills in a brown paper bag and then fled on foot.

Witnesses told investigators they believe the boy is between 10 and 13 years old and was manipulated into the robbery by an adult.

Witnesses said the boy is about 5 feet tall with a small build.
