ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A federal prosecutor describes a former teacher and summer camp director at a Christian academy as a “skilled sexual predator” and in court papers calls for a maximum sentence of 250 years in prison.

Forty-three-year-old Matthew Graziotti will be sentenced Monday by a federal judge in Orlando. He was arrested in July and pleaded guilty in October to a nine-count federal grand jury indictment.

He worked for Warner Christian Academy.

In a sentencing memorandum Assistant U.S. Attorney Karen Gable wrote that Graziotti used his position to gain the trust of the children.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/1CT0muh ) reports Graziotti is accused of sexually abusing 29 children under 12, with some as young as 6.

Gable wrote that a maximum sentence will “forever protect children and their parents” from further crimes.
