RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The Postal Service is heading to the state that proclaims itself as the place for lovers to dedicate the 2015 “Love” stamps.

The first-day-of-issuance ceremony for the limited edition “Love: Forever Hearts” stamps will be held Thursday at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond.

The Postal Service notes that the event is being held in a state with the slogan “Virginia is for Lovers.”

Lacy lettering in the shape of a heart spells out the word “Forever” on the “Love” stamps. One design features red lettering on a white background, the other white lettering on a field of red.
