CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say they are looking for a suspect they believe is responsible for at least 15 armed robberies since June.

The Charlotte Observer reports (https://bit.ly/1z3JeEv) the most recent of the robberies occurred at a drug store on Friday.

Capt. Cecil Brisbon told a news conference that the robber has targeted fast-food restaurants, drug stores, cash advance shops and other sites. The robberies have often taken place when shops open around 6 a.m. The robberies have been spread throughout the city.

Police say the time of day and types of shops targeted helped link the cases,
