CASSELTON, N.D. (AP) - Cass County Social Services has finished its investigation into the incident in which two 4-year-old boys nearly drowned at a hotel pool in November.

The boys were on a field trip with Sunrise-Sunset Preschool and Childcare of West Fargo on Nov. 11 when they were pulled out from the deep end of the pool. CPR had to be performed on the children. Emergency personnel were called to the Days Inn in Casselton and the boys were then taken to a Fargo hospital.

KFGO-AM (https://bit.ly/1EeKtlx ) reports investigators say the day care had four employees at the pool, but supervision was not adequate. The state has issued corrective orders to the facility.

Day care representatives could not be reached for comment Saturday.

The boys have returned to the day care.
