PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) - The Big Ten Conference men’s basketball game on Tuesday between Michigan State and Rutgers has been postponed by a blizzard that is threatening to bring 2 feet of snow to New Jersey.

Rutgers officials on Monday did not know when the game would be rescheduled.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie declared a state of emergency and closed state offices as the National Weather Service warned of a “crippling and potentially historic blizzard” expected to hit portions of the state Monday into Tuesday.
