PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a body washed up behind a waterfront restaurant in Port Richey.
The body was spotted behind Catches Waterfront Grille around 6 p.m. Sunday.
On Monday, police said the man still hasn’t been identified. They don’t believe foul play was involved.
The Tampa Bay Times (https://bit.ly/1yVBLWz ) reports police believe the man, who was in his 70s or 80s, may have been running along the nearby shoreline and fell into the water. He was wearing a wind breaker, pants and running shoes.
Authorities didn’t say how long he’d been in the water. They are checking with residents in the area who have older family members.
