FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - Ferry service to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket is winding down as the blockbuster storm approaches Massachusetts.

The Steamship Authority said Monday it has suspended all ferry service to Nantucket and is running ferries to Martha’s Vineyard on a trip-by-trip basis.

All ferry service has been canceled for Tuesday.

Cape Cod and the islands are bracing for possible wind gusts of 75-80 mph along with the threat of coastal flooding.

Gov. Charlie Baker has banned all non-essential motor vehicle travel as of midnight.
