JUPITER FARMS, Fla. (AP) - South Florida officials say bees stung a man more than 150 times.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue reports that paramedics responded to a Jupiter Farms neighborhood Monday afternoon. They saw a man being attacked by bees in an open field and chased the insects away with foam and carbon monoxide extinguishers.

A fire rescue spokesman says the man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His name and condition weren’t immediately released.
