RALEIGH, Miss. (AP) - Firefighters in Smith County are at the scene of a natural gas line fire Monday in a rural area west of Raleigh.

Greg Flynn, a spokesman for the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, says all 5 workers were present when the explosion happened but no injuries have been reported.

Sheriff Charlie Crumpton says the fire is under control and being watched.

The Smith County Fire Department is on standby with foam if they’re needed.

Smith County Emergency Management Agency director Brian Warren says the gas line is owned by Pan Southern Petroleum of Houston, Texas. He says no one is allowed inside the perimeter of the fire scene.

He says the cause of the accident will be determined once the fire is out.
