FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) - Detectives in Cumberland County say two pizza deliverymen were robbed in separate incidents over the weekend, with one of the crimes involving an empty home.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says one pizza deliveryman was trying to make a delivery on Saturday. As he stood on the porch, three masked men approached him, and one of them pointed a pistol at the deliveryman.

According to the sheriff’s office, the men made off with $20, the deliveryman’s wallet and cellphone as well as food. Investigators determined the residence was vacant.

A second robbery occurred 20 minutes later. The deliveryman man says three men approached him after he made his delivery, opened the passenger side door and pointed a gun at him. The suspects got away with $46 and the victim’s wallet.
