PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Republican Party activists have re-elected Robert Graham as their chairman, while their Democratic counterparts have elected a new chair for their party.

Graham easily fended off a challenge from Lori Urban in Saturday’s vote in Tempe.

Meanwhile, Alexis Tameron became the first woman to be elected chair of the state Democratic Party.

She served as the state party’s first vice chairwoman for the past two years.
