GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Court records show a long-time Jackson County woman who prepared taxes in 2009 and is accused of using other people’s identities to obtain $18,345 is set to go to trial in U.S. District Court beginning March 2.

The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1uwTde4 ) 34-year-old Ukisha Lashay Carter has pleaded not guilty to two counts each of making fraudulent claims and fraudulent use of identification documents and one count of theft of government funds.

A native of Round Rock, Texas, she is now living in Collinsville.

Carter was arrested after a federal grand jury returned the five-count indictment in April.
