FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) - Frostburg State University is inviting the public to watch a satellite feed of a national conference on climate change.

Officials of the school in western Maryland say the university is one of just seven institutions in the United States selected to host a satellite site for the event starting Tuesday. The conference in Washington runs through Thursday.

The annual conference on science, policy and the environment attracts more than 1,200 experts.

The scheduled keynote speaker Tuesday is U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy.
