HOWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - A central New Jersey man accused of sexually assaulting a toddler and recording the attack has been indicted on numerous counts, including aggravated sex assault and child endangerment.

The 17-count indictment against Kevin Motyka of Howell Township was handed up Friday by a Monmouth County grand Jury. It was made public Tuesday.

Prosecutors say the 23-year-old Motyka was arrested last year following an investigation that was spurred by tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. They say Motyka sexually assaulted a 2-year-old boy between May and December 2012, and created photographs and video recordings of the attacks.

A telephone number for Motyka could not be located Tuesday, and it was not known if he has retained a lawyer.
