An off-duty New York City police officer was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk in the middle of Monday night’s snowstorm, police said.

Joseph Mcauliffe, a 30-year veteran of the New York City Police Department, was charged with a DWI after he hit another vehicle about 10 p.m. in Brooklyn, DNA Info reported.

No one was reportedly injured.

Police refused to say whether Officer Mcauliffe, 56, had just gotten off work when he crashed at East 58th Street and Kings Highway, DNA Info reported.

All non-emergency vehicles were supposed to be off the road by 11 p.m. Monday.

The officer is expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
