LEBANON, Ore. (AP) - Linn County deputies arrested a 26-year-old Lebanon man accused of delivering life-threatening stab wounds to a friend.

Sheriff Bruce Riley says Sean McKee stabbed the friend several times in the neck and back of the skull with a folding pocket knife that had a four-inch blade. The 32-year-old victim was taken to a Lebanon hospital Monday night and then transferred to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis.

The incident occurred at a home owned by McKee’s mother. Riley says paramedics treated the mother for “numerous” minor injuries and superficial stab wounds.

Sean McKee was booked into the Linn County Jail on charges of attempted murder and assault. The sheriff says investigators are still trying to determine the motive. He says the victim did not have a weapon.
