TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A body of a homicide victim found in a drainage culvert in Tucson has been identified.

Tucson police said Tuesday that they’re still trying to find whoever killed 58-year-old Lanny Fuson.

Police received a 911 call last Saturday afternoon about a body found near the opening of a culvert that runs underneath Interstate 10 just south of West Miracle Mile.

When officers arrived, they discovered a dead man with obvious signs of blunt-force trauma which police say is indicative of a homicide.

Police believe Fuson was homeless at the time of his death and living near the area where his body was found.
