ARLINGTON, Mass. (AP) - Police say a Boston-area woman is accused of hitting her neighbor with a hand-held snow blower, after a long-running feud.

Arlington Police Chief Frederick Ryan said officers found a 60-year-old woman with cuts to her foot after getting a call about an assault at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. She was treated for minor injuries.

Ryan said 61-year-old Barbara Davis was ordered held on $35,000 cash bail on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, mayhem and violation of a harassment protection order. Davis will be arraigned later in Cambridge District Court. It’s not immediately known if she has an attorney.

Ryan said the injured woman had previously filed for a protection order against Davis.

About 2 feet of snow fell in the Boston area Tuesday during a blizzard.
