MOUNTAIN PARK, Ga. (AP) - Police are investigating after the removal of what appeared to be a grenade from a neighborhood in Mountain Park, just northwest of Roswell.

Roswell police and firefighters blocked West Lake Road in Mountain Park Tuesday afternoon after the device was discovered.

David Johnson tells WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1Epbwuo) that his crew found the grenade while clearing brush.

The Cobb County bomb squad eventually removed the grenade.

Johnson said police told him the device was not likely live.
