NEW YORK (AP) - Doctors Without Borders has taken to the skies to air its cause.

The organization says it had a plane tow a banner over New Jersey and New York on Wednesday.

The red banner said “Doctors to Obama: Keep #TPP Away From Our Medicines!”

TPP stands for the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

The group says the U.S. government is advocating for trade terms with Pacific Rim nations that could restrict access to generic medicines.

The plane took off from the Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

It flew over Staten Island and Brooklyn, past the Statue of Liberty and along the Hudson River.
