PASADENA, Calif. (AP) - Police in Pasadena are investigating after the body of a man shot to death was found at a park.

Lt. Vasken Gourdikian says officers discovered the body Tuesday night while investigating reports of shots fired near Villa-Parke Community Center.

The victim, said to be in his 50s, was not immediately identified.

Don Perry, who lives near the park, tells KABC-TV he heard about seven gunshots shortly after 10 p.m.

Investigators hope to talk to another man in his 30s who was hospitalized with gunshot wounds Tuesday night. They say the shootings are likely connected.



No suspects have been identified.
