GUSTINE, Texas (AP) - Members of the school board in the North Texas town of Gustine heard from concerned parents after about two dozen elementary school students had to pull their pants down after feces were found on a gym floor.

WFAA-TV (https://bit.ly/1wGwiwN ) reports the district has confirmed that the two administers involved in the incident are on leave.

On Thursday night the school board delayed its formal meeting for an informal session in which four members listened to parents. Some parents thought the administrators went too far, others thought the officials made the best decision they could at the time.

The incident happened Monday in the gym after two administrators believed a student left feces on the floor.

Gustine, with a population of about 460, is located 90 miles southwest of Fort Worth.
