LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A judge has sentenced a northwest Arkansas man to federal prison for possessing child pornography.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (https://bit.ly/1zFhGWa ) reports 53-year-old Craig Goettsch of Rogers was sentenced to five years in prison followed by five years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty to possessing child porn in October.

According to court records, investigators identified a computer that was engaging in distributing child porn using an Internet file sharing program.

An investigation led police to Goettsch’s residence, where officers seized several computers and digital storage devices. Authorities say they found thousands of images of children, some as young as 8 years old.
