DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have arrested a woman they say tried to rob a Dover store at gunpoint.

Troopers say a woman walked into Edible Arrangements shortly after noon on Wednesday and gave an employee a note implying she had a gun and demanding money.

Officers say the employee told the woman she didn’t have any money, and the would-be robber walked out of the store onto East Lebanon Road.

The woman was found at a hotel where she had been renting a room.

Twenty-one-year-old Alaya McDonald of Dover was arrested and charged with robbery.
