HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says deputies have found a car that fatally hit a bicyclist near Hagerstown.

Deputy First Class Carly Hose says 47-year-old John Bushman was struck by a hit-and-run driver at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on West Washington Street, also known as state Route 144, just west of Hagerstown.

She says both Bushman and the black 2010 Mazda 3 sedan were traveling west.

Hose said late Friday afternoon that the vehicle involved in the hit and run had been located, but would not provide more details as the investigation continued.
