BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) - A former guard at the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson faces up to two years in prison after admitting he improperly touched an inmate.

The Register-Herald (https://bit.ly/1vbscmy) reports that 50-year-old Richard Canterbury of Lewisburg pleaded guilty Thursday to an abusive sexual contact involving a ward. The charge relates to an incident in 2014 when he touched the breasts of a female inmate.

Besides a prison term, Canterbury also could be fined $250,000 fine. He is scheduled to be sentenced May 13.
