PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A 19-year-old man has been charged with the alleged sex trafficking of two teenage girls in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Authorities announced on Friday that Reginald Chaney of East Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested Thursday night in an investigation by Providence police and federal Homeland Security Investigations agents.

Court documents allege Chaney met two girls, ages 15 and 16, on Jan. 16 in East Providence and forced them into sexual encounters with people who responded to Internet ads. Police say the encounters happened in Rhode Island in Providence, Warwick and Pawtucket and in Seekonk, Massachusetts, and Chaney charged $60 to $200 for sex with the girls.

Authorities say Chaney also used a stun gun on the girls.

Chaney is detained. A message seeking comment was left for his lawyer Friday.
