MANCHESTER, England (AP) - British police say they are looking into an alleged road-rage incident involving former Manchester United captain Roy Keane.

Britain’s Press Association reported that Keane got into an altercation with a taxi driver in Altrincham, a town in northwest England, on Friday.

When asked about the alleged incident involving Keane, Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to a report that “a man had behaved aggressively towards another man” and added that “an investigation is underway to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.”

The 43-year-old Keane lives in a village near to where the alleged incident took place.
