UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - A man who was under the influence of PCP when he fatally stabbed a man in Glenarden has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Jahwil Sheard of Landover was sentenced Friday in Prince George’s County. The 38-year-old was found guilty of second-degree murder and carrying a concealed and dangerous weapon in the June 2014 death of Terrell Burton.

Police responding to a report of a stabbing saw Sheard running from the scene.
