GRAY, Maine (AP) - More snow is piling on much of Maine in the wake of a blizzard that dumped two feet on parts of the state.

A meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Gray says Portland has 2.6 inches of snow, Gray has 3.1 inches, Sebago has 4 inches and Caribou has 3.9 inches Snow began in the early morning hours Friday and is expected to continue all day throughout the state.

The snow is expected to taper off Saturday morning. Portland could receive 6 inches of snow, while Augusta could see 10 to 12 inches and Bangor could get 10 to 14 inches.

Winds will pick up Saturday, with a low temperature of 10 degrees in coastal areas. Meteorologists say more snow is possible on Monday but amounts are uncertain.
