SAN ANTONIO (AP) - At 38-years-old, Tim Duncan admits a few more days rest would be better for him rather than playing in the All-Star Game.

The San Antonio Spurs forward will make the 15th All-Star appearance of his illustrious 18-year career after being selected as a reserve for the Western Conference on Thursday.

He says he would have loved a couple days off, but says he is looking forward to it and will be taking his children. He will be coached by Steve Kerr - his former teammate in San Antonio, where the two won NBA championships in 1999 and 2003.
