LONDON (AP) - Stoke defender Robert Huth has been banned for two matches after admitting to making inappropriate posts on social media.

The German center back responded on his Twitter account to tweets of sexual images which asked users to guess their gender.

The English Football Association says on Friday that Huth admitted to breaching rules after he was charged with making “indecent and/or improper” comments that “included a reference to gender and/or gender reassignment.”

Huth was also fined 15,000 pounds ($22,000) and ordered to complete a mandatory education course.

Queens Park Rangers defender Rio Ferdinand and Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli have been banned this season by the FA for social media posts.
