EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say the suspect in an Everett arson was arrested Friday morning when he returned to the scene.

The fire department says the fire was set in the crawl space of a home and caused some light smoke. It was put out about 2:30 a.m. by a firefighter with an extinguisher.

Residents said the fire was started by a man who fled the scene. Police arrested him when he returned.
