SAN DIEGO (AP) - Trial has been ordered for two San Diego men accused of taking part in a robbery and shootout at a medical marijuana dispensary that left an alleged accomplice dead and another man wounded.

U-T San Diego reported Thursday (https://bit.ly/1yeDphV ) that 18-year-old Kurese Bell is charged several felonies including murder and attempted murder. He was 17 at the time of his arrest but has been charged as an adult.

Prosecutors say Bell threatened to kill the security guard and the store owner during the holdup last April.

Atiim Kalomo Smith is believed to have been the getaway driver. The 22-year-old faces attempted murder and robbery charges.

The guard fired at one of the robbers, who died at the dispensary. The guard suffered a gunshot wound to his pelvis during the gunbattle, but survived.
