BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A truck hauling canned peas and corn has rolled over, spilling some of its cargo along a freeway ramp in southeastern Michigan.
State police Lt. Tony Cuevas tells (https://bit.ly/1HsmBxl ) The Monroe News that it appears the semi-trailer driver failed to negotiate a curve Friday morning on an interstate 275 ramp in Berlin Township.
No injuries were reported, but dozens of cans of vegetables tumbled from a busted rear door. The ramp from southbound I-275 to northbound I-75 has been closed.
The crash is under investigation. Cuevas says weather conditions don’t appear to have factored into the wreck, which occurred about 25 miles southwest of Detroit.
